two years old.

Our sweet little double batch turned TWO.  I can't hardly believe it and I don't have the time to say what I want in words.  So here are three pictures I adore.  I love you to the moon and back my dearest Elle and James.
First and last photos taken by Emily Vennerstrom.

child-like faith

Last night we turned on some tunes around 7.  Kids were ready for bed, JD was working late and I was ready for happy hour (8pm).  God stopped me in my tracks with that thought pattern when Reagan jumped on the couch and proclaimed "I want to sing and jump because God is here.  He is my friend.  He will never leave me, EVER!"  I want to soak up every single moment with these blessings.

the wedding.

If it wasn't for Rabeka and Eric getting maui'd in Maui JD and I may have never ventured to gorgeous Kaanapali Beach, HI.  Eric and Beeka: we are FOREVER grateful and indebted to you. This wedding was one of my favorites ever.  And I have been to a lot of weddings.  Surrounded by God's INCREDIBLE creation, amazing food, great drinks, awesome DJ and people we adore.  It was perfect.
Early morning wannabe florist selfie
My hot date.
Reception was at a gorgeous home on a coffee plantation overlooking the mountains and ocean.
The BEST sushi, poke and ceviche.
Are we surprised that EO had an octopus ice sculpture?
We love you, Mr. and Mrs. O!

the road to LAHANA

Techinically it's the road to Hana but for some reason BZ and JD latched on to LAHANA and when they latch on, it never ends.
We started off the morning in our sweet rental jeep that BZ picked up the night before.
Left at 7 with a full cooler and another jeep behind us full of 4 friends.  We all grabbed McDonald's breakfast and then started an unforgettable road trip.  BZ drove us through the windiest, narrowest roads dug out of mountains.  We stopped at a roadside stand for warm homemade banana bread.  Jose preferred standing up in the passenger seat to sitting.  The waves crashing against the beaches, rocks and mountain were huge and glorious.  The beauty was a testament to God's glorious handiwork.  It was an awesome day.
