8 nights.
Tomorrow we take Reagan up north and will say goodbye to her for 8 nights. 8! I have been quite a sap about it but am getting really, really excited for a dream vaca with my man. I will miss you every day, rea.

dinner, thanks to my hipster sister.
My sister in law, Grace, sent me the below recipe via my other wonderful sister in law, Annie. Grace embarked on her journey of 'grad school wife for 3 years' just one week ago! I am so excited and proud of her and her wonderful future physical therapist. I also feel pretty nostalgic about the fact that I was in that very spot 3 years ago. Still can't believe it's over.
Thanks for sending this recipe,
Grace. We loved it. Subbed spinach for iceberg, added olives, and smothered it with the dressing...but only have a picture without. I will never eat a salad without dressing, preferably ranch of some sort :) This is very toddler friendly. Rea ate all the ingredients separate instead of in salad form. Enjoy!

good till the last drop.
frozen wild blueberries + strawberries, peaches, or mango + frozen spinach or kale + half a banana + lots of plain whole milk yogurt + coconut oil + orange juice or coconut water = a toddler (and a mama's) favorite treat.

where does she get that beautiful red hair?
I am asked this question almost every day. The big blue eyes and the perfect red hair, pretty sure it's mostly because of this guy. Not to say she didn't receive a large dose of Irish from her own daddy, but my dad contributed quite a bit to me. He drove 2 days to spend 2 hours with us yesterday. It was a very sweet 2 hours and I am very thankful.
